Our Mission
Being able to express yourself is one of the most basic yet powerful displays of individualism. From the way we wear our hair to the clothes we choose each day, our music preferences to the cars we drive… often times the things that say the most about ourselves and who we are aren’t the words we speak at all.
We strive to be as inclusive, supportive, and welcoming as possible. It's our mission to always evolve in finding creative ways for people to feel represented and heard while doing our part to give back to the community.

Our Story
Our story began in 2015, with a simple yet hilarious idea: hiding silly pin back buttons and stickers around our workplace to bring some joy and laughter to our friends and coworkers. It was a fun way to connect and share memories from the past.
In 2019, our story took an unexpected turn when our son was born prematurely and required an extended stay in the NICU. It was a challenging time for us, but we were grateful for the opportunity to offer encouragement to other parents going through the same experience. We started making buttons promoting social distancing and no-touching. It felt like a small way to make a difference.
Then came the pandemic, and everything changed AGAIN. We decided to start an Etsy store to promote safety and kindness during a time of great stress and uncertainty. The response was overwhelming, and we knew we had something truly special.
We took a leap of faith and invested in the best equipment and materials we could find to create premium products that help to promote important messages while also minimizing our environmental impact. We converted our garage into a production print shop and haven't looked back.
We may be small and independent, but we're proud to be local - and we're committed to staying that way. Our mission is simple: to create products that inspire connection, kindness, and support. We're grateful for every customer and every opportunity to make a difference.

Our Approach
I Make Flair exists because we believe the things people choose to put into the world matters.
Sometimes that’s a sticker on a water bottle. Sometimes it’s a button on a jacket, a sign in a yard, a decal in a window, or something small passed from one person to another. These things may not seem huge on their own, but they can carry real meaning. They can make someone feel seen. They can make someone laugh. They can help someone feel less alone. They can show support, pride, care, humor, grief, joy, resistance, belonging, or love.
They can also help an idea travel farther than it ever could on a screen.
A piece of art, a small business logo, a band name, a cause, a campaign, a joke, a symbol, or a message can become something tangible. Something people can hold, wear, share, sell, display, mail, hand out, or stick somewhere meaningful. That small physical thing can move from person to person, place to place, and sometimes end up somewhere the creator never imagined.
That is what keeps us connected to the work.
We are a small shop, but we care deeply about what we make and why people make it. Behind every order is a person, a story, a business, a brand, a memory, a piece of art, an inside joke, an identity, or an idea someone cared enough to bring into the world. We try not to lose sight of that.
At the heart of I Make Flair is a simple belief: people deserve to feel seen, heard, and valued. If something we make helps someone share who they are, what they believe in, what they’ve built, or what they’ve created, then the work matters.
